Okay then, what was it like? It has always been exactly the same. You enjoy the experience or you don't. If you don't, there will always be another stumbler to take your place and it will be a whole new experience for them.
Honestly, I don't recall the forums being any different from when I first joined. Different players, yes, but different? No. |

There were times I had a lot more fun in the forums than now, but I know that's partly because some good people left, others have less time to play, and also I'm not around as much myself as I was, so of course I don't feel as much at home. But, also, I've found some new forums starting up, or old ones coming alive, which are really interesting.
It's like when your favourite bar or club starts to go dead. No point complaining, either revive it yourself or find a new one you like.
And, yes, often in the past the 'community spirit' was helped along by people unifying against common irritants. We should be glad those times are past, I'd suggest. |
